Is Tribal Trades worth it?

$79.99 a month is $959.88 a year. Here is what would have to be true for that to be a sensible purchase — and when it plainly is not.

The question behind the question

“Is it worth it” usually means “will it make me money”, and nobody can answer that — not us, and not the operator. Trading carries a real risk of loss, most retail traders lose over time, and no community changes that arithmetic.

So here is the version of the question that can be answered: at $79.99 a month, what would have to be true for this to be a sensible purchase?

Three things that would make it worth it

1. You learn a repeatable process

The recurring theme in the longer reviews is being taught the when and the why rather than being handed calls. A process you can run yourself is the only part of any subscription that keeps paying after you cancel.

2. You actually get your questions answered

This is what the small-room positioning is supposed to buy you. In a community of thousands you are a username; in a limited one, two coaches can realistically respond. If that happens, it is worth real money — and if it does not, the main reason to be here has gone.

3. Someone imposes discipline on you

Plenty of traders know what they should do and do something else at 2am. A room that makes you justify a trade is worth more than most people admit.

The arithmetic

$79.99 a month is $959.88 a year. A rule of thumb worth applying to any trading subscription:

If a year of the subscription is more than roughly 10% of the capital you could lose in full without it affecting your life, the maths is working against you.

At $959.88 a year, that implies trading capital around $10,000. Below that, the fee becomes a large fixed drag on a small account before a single trade is placed.

That is not a rule handed down from anywhere — it is a sanity check. But someone funding a $1,000 account and paying $960 a year for education is in an obviously poor position, and no quality of teaching fixes it. Learn from free material first and come back when the account justifies the fee.

When it is not worth it

  • You want signals. The reviews describe teaching. If you want a feed to mirror without understanding it, you will be paying for something you do not intend to use.
  • You are trading money you need. The single clearest reason to walk away from any offer in this category.
  • You have not watched the free content. There is a sizeable free YouTube channel. Not using it first is leaving the cheapest possible evaluation on the table.

The honest answer

Worth it if you want to be taught and you have an account big enough that $960 a year is a sensible training budget. Not worth it if you are hoping a subscription substitutes for capital, time or risk tolerance.

Risk: trading involves a substantial risk of loss and most retail traders lose money. Nothing here is financial advice. Member reviews are individual experiences, not typical results.
